We had a great day driving through Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. We meandered trough the back roads to get a feel for rural Vermont, and we drove into Mt. Peliere -- the capital of Vermont. |

We stopped in Wells River, Vt and got some lunch at TJ's Lunch counter, as well as some postcards (I mailed 24 to all of my former students) and some maps....

We decided to drive across the
Kancamagus Highway in New Hampshire, Route 112.
